| October 7, 2007 marked our third annual Open House & Fun Day event! Although the weather was overcast & chilly, no rain fell and we were able to host the popular Stablemate painting and fun & games events outside. With only a small turnout, we had a rather intimate & relaxing gathering, but a great time seeing old friends (thank you Nancy, Barb & Ron and Haley for coming again) and putting faces to new ones (thanks Kim and the Middleton crew!). A possible 2008 event will take place at the same address, but in our brand new Breyer building! Make plans to join us next year should we be able to host one in the fall! We are also putting on a large addition to our home and hope to be able to host other model horse events in the future (clinics, get-togethers, intimate live shows, etc.). Stay tuned for more information when construction is complete! Those of you who could not attend this year, what would make it easier for you to come? Let us know! If you have any other comments or suggestions to share to make future events better, please let us know! |
